yeah, i am on there....I've had trouble getting homeowner reviews on there. Had a homeowner right a review and Yelp will erase the review if the person making it only reviews your business and nothing else. I suggest anyone who has a client review them on Yelp, ask them to also review at least one other business on there too. It doesn't matter what but they need at least 2 reviews or Yelp will assume you are reviewing your own business.

A buddy of mine had his wife review his business and the wife was dumb enough to mention she was his wif...they both got their businesses kicked off the service.

also, I use yelp all the time to find local shops for things i need......found a great guitar shop through there and a bunch of good places to eat.

yeah, as long as they make multiple reviews it will stay up..single reviews are usually considered bad news and get erased. So yeah just tell people if they are going to review your business, that it would be better if they also reviewed at least one other business, be it BK, convenience store, restaurant, their family doctor...anything at all..doesn't even need to be long. One sentence is fine.

" i ate ate BK today, service was fast and food tasted garbage"

here take a look at the F.A.Q
