Default Implementing systems

I am new here. This is likely a repost. Although, if you would please allow me this request. I was reading a post by Brian, and saw under his avatar the slogan 'systems fanatic'. This reminded me of one of the many things I was not able to do today, one of which was to research the process by which one makes a paint company operate on systems rather than by humans. If that makes sense. It isn't a new idea in general, but it is new to me, the idea of my company running itself on systems rather than me.....How much time would one expect to have to invest into seeing this through til fruition? Probably too many variables to estimate blindly. Kind of like how much do I charge to paint this or that...

If it's a sticky already, please forgive me it's late. I'm a bit too stressed to sleep but too tired to be worth much... I think it would make an interesting conversation in any event. Ironic, having this implemented into Father and Son Painting, Inc. would solve the very problem I am having now.

The questions of this survey should tell you where you are.

But it is very time consuming and ongoing.
