I have read some of the top guys say how good news letters are and how effective they are in referrals and customer retention, how about some pointers from the guys that have used them.
How many times a year?? I'm thinking four
What program to use for printing all them addressee's on envelopes??
anything that may help, I'm really anting to do a mailing to in the middle of next month
Thats why it's so much easyer to send emails. I use execel to keep all my contacts, then I just have my sexatary I mean my secretary (wife) right everything out for me.
We mail a newsletter 4 times a year, and have done so for about 14 years. We use an Access data base for the mailing labels.
They work. We mailed about 400 copies last week, and we had 3 past customers and 1 referral call this week. We will get many more, plus we are staying in front of those who don't need anything right now.
Our total cost was about $220, so our lead cost was a reasonable $55 so far, and that is going to go down further.
We also do a monthly email through Constant Contact. That isn't as effective as the print version, but it only costs $16 a month.
