I agree, he took the money he's gone. If he pulled his advertising here w/o much warning as Nathan mention... He's gone...

Good luck, call your cc company and explain the situation...

No reply at all to my additional emails and voicemails. I'm still investigating all avenues in an attempt to get my money back. My magic eight ball says "All signs point to the money is gone forever"

Default Just an update...

I've attempted more phone calls and emails and he still does not return either. I think it's safe to say now that he has done something else with my money. It's unfortunate, but as they say "No good deed goes unpunished"

The funds were wired to him. Normally, that would have been a red flag, but I trusted him. That's obviously where I went wrong. I'll let you know if anythign else happens. Southwest does have deals on flights to California, so that may be an option.

Maybe I'm wrong here (I'm not a US citizen) but don't the FBI investigate this sort of thing? According to their web site, they investigate Internet Fraud. This all came about because of an Internet banner ad campaign and as far as I can see, the guy in question is still trading on the Internet (the web site is still active). Don't you think it would be worth while contacting your local FBU office and see what they have to say?

I just submitted a requrest for pricing information. It will be interesting to see if they respond when they think that they may be able to get some money out of someone new. I'll let you know if I hear from them. And I'll be sure to mention that 1800Upstate is still waiting for his money to be returned.

Thanks for the heads up on the FBI web site. I just filed an IC3 complaint with them. We'll see what happens. I'll keep you posted. Brian, I found you the same way and I'm very happy with your service and products. Thanks

If you have a mailing address. Certified mail would be more effective than e-mails. Just a thought.
