Default Painterz Mail? Direct Mail?

Has anyone used this direct mail service? If so, what was your experience? If not,I'm looking for suggestions based on experience of positive or negative experiences with direct mail. Thanks in advance.

I use my own mail list for the areas of my market i want to target.
I select the area based upon hove values and home ownership.
That is they can afford and do keep their homes up.
I then go to whitepages.com
transfer the addresses into my stamps.com address book
develop mailing pieces of combination of Post card or letter mailout
send out on regular basis to this customer base.
generally have good responses.

I have not tried the mail-out services mentioned or any other such services.

I've noticed a decrease in response to direct mail but I also think that may be due to an increase in people sending out direct mail.(tight economy) dollar for dollar i think VAL PAK and other coupon mailers are a better value.

Using Stamps.com address book you can copy and paste from the free edition of whitepages. using the Stamps.com address book allows you to copy and paste the
Names
address
City
state, zip
into a box, you will need to have your mailing piece ready, as the system will then address the card or envelope. The address book then places and sorts the info into its address book format.

You might want to check whitepages does have a paid version that may allow you to import from their records.

You can also copy names into Microsoft Office Outlook and export those into the stamps addresses book
