I believe they can work, as long as the interviews are real. The one you linked to feels like its an actress speaking. Realistic homeowners, speaking about the paint job and experience of it would work for me.

If you had a bunch of them like Steve has here, it may fly, but as the only one, it does not seem "real". You might also want to create a new YouTube channel for the new company.

Steve has done some amazing things, and really grown his business. Some of the very things he has gotten so much flack for here on PT are the very reasons for his success.

I agree that youtube is likely to play a competitors video after yours. People can get distracted very easily when online.

Yep, that is the price you pay for Youtube hosting your vid, you can use Animoto or something else, or now you can upload video to Wordpress, but there are trade offs.

Yeah. Around here is like that with the reviews and when they write a review for your business on Google. Google doesn't post the reviews

This drives me nuts...

You ask them for the review, you remind them, they take their time to write on on google and google just flags it.I have total of 6 google reviews, when it should be at least 26 reviews.Once in a while couple of them comes up and then disappears again.

I've been buying customers Angie's list memberships to leave me a review. Even then a lot of people don't do it. Getting video testimonials must be incredibly difficult. : yes:
