My portfolio has always had stuff like Johnson and Johnson in it. My investment guy said that even in a recession or depression, people will still be buying deoderant, toothpaste, and toilet paper. Hopefully he was right (for more than just the investment part of it).

Saw a documentary about Costco once. Their biggest selling item; toilet paper.

I know I'll never get my price down to $0.40 a roll. If you did, kudos to you.

I don't know if I'd consider this forum to be like the dark web. Probably 98% of us have had the same names since joining. You've already went from being "Elegant Painting" to now using "California". Any particular reason why?

I'd dig up invoices for you if I cared but i'll just let you believe what you want.
I'm afraid I know a little to much about how SW functions, and personally know a few to many people in high places at SW to fall for this one. If you post an invoice, make sure you cover up all store identification and employee identification if you want to keep getting those prices. Someone will get fired if you don't!

.40 a roll isn't close to cost on any 3m brand masking tape. For anyone. Anywhere. I know secrets about this. At that price they aren't giving it to you, they're actually paying you to take it. And if I buy 50,000 rolls of some no name Chinese tape off of alibaba, it's still more than .40 a roll. 120,000 rolls of the cheapest tape made in India is .42.

We worked on a few jobs with this one plumber a really funny guy, he used to tell us that "our $hit was his bread and butter"!

My buddy pays $50gal for Hydroplus and I pay $70 because he uses 20g a week and I use 1 or 2. Kind of ****ty but that is the deal. Any of you ck out SW and what they do for the public with charity, funding kids programs, etc. Maybe stop complaining until you do a little more research. Would you want to work for a company that doesn't make a profit?

They do make a profit. And honestly they do give quite a lot back to the community. More than most companies that size I would bet. It's great marketing though, and everyone in business knows it.

Most of the tape I'm seeing on alibaba is 15 and 30 yard rolls. The full 60 yard rolls run .40 and up.
