I run my business in a french canadian city, so the name of my business is the french translation of "mypainter.ca" , monpeintre.ca. I'm wondering if it would sound right in english, MyPainter.ca ??? what do you think?

Well, I was about to comment but seems you already scooped it and have pointing to your original domain.

Is this all your doing with this domain?

Why don't you develop it into the English version of your site.

I know you have the translation on your site already, but make a second English site and get that one ranked on search engines. You can pull traffic from both.

IMHO, There's no use having a domain with your keyword in it, without putting it work.

Good Luck

That's the plan, the english version of my website is not up to date. I plan on doing a full english website someday, and hire an english speaking project manager. There's a Big market for english speaking client in the area.
Tanks for the advice, I'm glad the name sounds good in english too.

play to your audience.

Are Quebecians still boycotting anything that's NOT French? If French Canadians are your market, make the site for them.
