Default Color!

When I bought my most recent van, part of the deal was to primer/paint the guys house (complete gut, remodel)

Little did I know how colorful it would be...my eyes burn:what:

Looks like an office we painted. The owner let her 3 & 6 year old pick the colors. The employees were complaining about having to work in such bold colors.

Sour apple, sub lime, red like your pics, vibrant blue. This was the ugliest color choices we have done yet.

I see the Ohio school for the blind decorating class has been at it again. (actually a very amazing school. Their marching band is astounding. Really.)

I kept joking with the guy, telling him once the roller hits the wall there is no easy way of going back.

The wife loves it, and I guess that's all that counts

she could be color blind and all she is actually seeing is shades of brown.

Sounds like one of those PITA parents who thinks everything her kids do is just so fabulous and cute that everyone else should be expected to feel the same about them. Ran into more than a few of those during my teaching career... some real wackos and invariably the ones causing the most trouble.

And just to show you how sinister those little pampered brats can be, he or she is probably spying at their parent's anguished, but obligated faces, snickering at their gullibility.

Scene:
Spiraling into a snot bubbly, red faced fit of rage, six year old Maxwell Blight screamed at his mother and father "I hate you, I hate you, I HATE YOU!. I wanted the doors PURPLE! NOT BLUE! Waaaaaaah!" Horrified at the possibility that Max could seize at any moment, all Jeff and Andrea could do was offer a painful smile.

I painted my oldest daughter's room a bright red when she was little and it was really sharp. When we moved we kept the house rented for eight years with it red.Kept the lid and trim white. On the other hand I just finished a kid's dentist office where there is an electric lime, actual color from S/W, wall that ties into a bright purple wall. To me not real calming for little kids in a dentist office.

Not sure about being bored with off whites, but I certainly am so with having all of our furniture on the floor. Going to try changing things up a bit like you did.

Are those from SW's "Emerging Nations" color collection?
