Default Titebond Weathermaster Question

Hi everyone. I am in NH doing this job which of course is not going as planned and long story short I have to do some extra work to speed things along.

The GC told me that he used Titebond Weathermaster to fill the nailholes in all the trim. Well it is smeared all over, a sloppy job and he says not to sand it until AFTER I put one coat of paint on it. I asked him to read that to me from the instructions on the tube, which of course wasn't on the tube. It is quite gummy even after 24 hrs.

Is he right? What should I do?
I like the cut of your jib.

Ugh. Sounds like you will be sanding forever. I would think sanding after a coat of paint would make it even harder to sand.

Since the GC is a busybody I would give him some sandpaper and tell them to have at it.
