    Jack.

I am bidding on a new 4 plex with a reputable builder. I am trying to get in with some new construction to diversify my company. I come highly recommended though a solid source. Currently I do alot of repaints, and most of my work comes through of rental property contacts. I have build out specs. (knock down walls, 5 inch trim, no crown molding, three colors for trim, ceiling and walls.)
My margin for error is slim because I will be bidding this tight and the amount of Sqft is so high... that if I miscalculate the basecoat I could loose my profit.
The main question I need answered is this... What do I use (and how much per sqft.) To completely seal the walls for even topcoat coverage?

Jesse-N-Becca, I am not certain which ceiling pattern you are referring to, I have published many techniques for painting ceilings over the years. The technique for rolling ceilings vs. spraying is always different and natural light has no impact on technique used. You can send me a direct email via my Google+ page. The link is in the signature.

    Hey JP,

I was taking a look at your diagram that you have about painting ceilings and was studying the patterns. And I have a few questions. Is this pattern set for only rolling ceilings or can I spray a ceiling using the same pattern without back rolling? The other question is...how does this pattern work with the entrance of natural light being that we normally roll with the natural light coming in? The situation is ...new construction light orange peel on ceilings/walls. pee coat before texture, single coat primer back rolled, single coat finish just sprayed. You're insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Kieran, I removed all 739 google+ posts. They will not be republished. Other portions of Jack Pauhl and sister sites were also removed, some entirely. Collectively I removed content that served 4 million views in the past year in an effort to have better control over expired content, product changes, discontinued product, formulation changes, Top Paint Products and systems we no longer use.
