Take the Wooster Wideboy, and smoothly tack 9" to each side so it'll extend to 36". Now get some PVC that'll fit inside of a nap, and just toss 2 18" naps on it. Gonna have to cut the PVC about 1" shorter than the overall length though so your end caps will still fit in nicely.

I'm sure they dont exist. Anyone ever seen em? Also I have some big block filling jobs coming up and wondered if anyone has ever tried a 45 thousandths or bigger tip for block filler?
anything over an 18" is

impractical
cumbersome
heavy
goofy
not necessary
etc
etc
etc

the pvc idea wouldnt work the middle would never be touching =P. I'm liking the 18 in the middle with 9" facing both ways for the corners. 18" 3/8 is light after using an 18" 1 3/4 nap to back roll conflex on 30' walls. I love a good workout and have a guy that can keep up with 2 people spraying. He cant wait to try a 36"... however i dont think it would be worth patenting since i know too many people that think 18s are too heavy

I am a work-out-aholic myself...but at the ripe age of 28 I've learned to work smarter not harder. Sounds soooo cliche but it is very relevant to this post. I don't mean to sound rude, but if you have a guy that can keep up with 2 people spraying, GREAT!!!

Fire the sprayers tomorrow

I'm not trying thats just how good he is. And on a prevailing wage job I would rather pay him a little more... like $40 then to pay 2 guys $35. and he would be thrilled considering hes only been painting for 6 months.

Brother, you know what you need to do to make things work. We are just telling you what we would do. Follow your chosen path and have at it.
