I am new to air assisted airless spraying, but I already have a Graco Nova 395 and a compressor, and I'd like to give AAA a shot with the purchase of a new gun (and a hopper attachment). I'll be using this for occasional fine finish jobs on cabinets, furniture, and trim.

Before I jump in, I have a few simple questions that I could use some guidance/confirmation on:
- Is there any reason the 395 is not an appropriate unit for converting to AAA?
- Is there any reason the MAC5200 wouldn't be powerful enough if paired with the 395?
- CA Tech's Bobcat is relatively affordable, but I am open to other brands - is there a solid gun you might recommend instead for beginning and occasional use?
