JMCP and I are working on this job. Everything is completed except for the floor, baseboard and the windows. We framed, drywalled, insulated, replaced drop ceiling, rerouted the water lines, replaced lighting, primed and painted. Will show complete project pic when floor is done.

V, did you have your home sided? What was on there b 4, cedar shake? Thats an awful lot of nails:eek:
I tore of some 50 year old spruce and put on cedar clapboards...myself! The old timers used alot of nails, and rusty ones.
Here's how it finished out...almost finished. I added a window in the unfinished section. Oops no upload...hang on
Brian

Gotta give me some credit for doing all that and not wrecking the lilacs!
Looks good V, you did this yourself? Nice job. Gotta take your work on the road.

Scott,

I started to re-side my house and got about 10% of it done before I gave up and sent one of my crews to finish the job. And it's only one story. So you have my complete admiration for doing that job by yourself. That must have been one long weekend.

Scott,
That must have been one long weekend.

Or 2 or 3 or 4 or 5
Brian

That was about 7 long weekends. And then I got to paint it, which was a long weekend. Since our son was born, I don't do long weekends anymore. Good thing I got it all out of my system. I have carpenter friends who are always looking for sidework. I like it better this way.
Here is the finished product. Not bad for being, as the owner says, "just a warehouse." The owner had a hard time understanding good work. Wanted the thing just thrown together without thought.

Wow Timhag! How did you get the floor looking so good. That looks like an epoxy coating? Did you do the acid bath?

He got it looking so good by watching me do it. :tt2:
Used Duron Porch & Floor. No heavy prep on it though. Just a scrap, sweep, & mop as the floor is getting covered. Just wanted it to look nice for the time being.

V, I watched JMCP do the floor, turned out nice.
