Does anyone know how to determine the batch date from the code on the can?

For example 41E20917 is printed on the lid of a quart of Aura. That code for SW would most likely mean the batch date was 9/20/17 and 41E would be the location. But I am not sure how BM does it.

I believe 41E was late 2021, fairly recent anyway as far as quart cans go. you can call the hotline they will tell you date and any batch complaints.

First two numbers are the plant code.
The letter is the year, starting with A = 2017.
The next three digits are the ordinal date (Jan 1st = 001).
And IIRC, the last two digits are a plant-specific job id.

So for your example the date would be July 28th 2021 (E = 2021, 209th day).
