I came across some books on Amazon and thought we might start a list of good ones. Most of these are posted in some of the other stickies, but I thought if we could get them listed in one spot it may help?

How much should I charge?

Where did the money go?

I read "How Much Should I Charge" a couple of years ago. Pretty interesting read for anyone, but pretty informative if you are just starting out. The example used throughout the book is a lady who goes into faux finishing once her kids are in school.

I recommend two books for small business owners. First, Marketing Professional Services by Thomas Hayes and Paul Bloom and second, Start Your Own Business by Entrepreneur Press. SYOB is a how-to for starting up a company but provides valuable insight for any business owner.

It is always a good idea to go back to the bacis like these two classics.

How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie

The Magic of Thinking Big by David Schwartz

I was about to suggest the Dale Carnegie book until I came to your post.

The book is basically about how to deal with people. Anybody who is in front of customers should be reading it.
