Just wanted to give Brian a plug (like he needs one lol) I have just recently completed his teleconfrence est work shop, and was very pleased with the way he held shop. I would recomend this class to any repaint guys trying to get the est system, black and white. He gives you many useful tools, to help understand estimating. Great value for the money imo, thanks Brian:thumbsup:

HI Dave!! My name is Billy. How do I do the teleconference that Brian gives? I would really like to check that out....and try to better my business or get some useful pointers. I'm still a little young at the whole business thing. I have been painting for a long time but this is my first year on my own. Thanks Dave!! Billy!

Hello Billy, welcome to the sight, Im not real sure what Brian's schedule is, Im sorry, he offers several differnt course's, and at differnt times I think, Brian, hopefully will chime in and give some info, on when.

Billy, I think a lot of guys started just like you, I know I did, and thanks to BB like this I was able to run a buisness, instead of being a painter.

I agree with Mac Man here. I also took Brian's estimating course. If you are looking to get an estimating system in place that is teachable, reliable, and you can replicate, take the course. The two main problems with eyeballing for estimating are: it requires a great deal of experience and cannot be taught. If you are going to grow your business, eventually you will have to begin to delegate tasks. Estimating is one of those chores that can be delegated. By employing Brian's ideas and methods, you can get estimating off your plate and concentrate on other duties requisite to building your business and profit.
