Does anyone have a color schedule aproval form. I have a customer from **LL who can't make up her mind on colors. I general don't get involved in color samples and ask that all colors be selected a minimum of 3 day's before start of project. This is the 2nd week since it was started we have practically painted the entire front of her home with samples and I am over it. She has paid for our time but it's affecting our other projects"scheduling" and now she doesn't understand why it will be 2 weeks before we can get back to hers. It is a large home and worth the effort but I hate getting caught up in customers inability to make decisions. I searched the site some but I am being lazy.

Here is mine. We just print them out on regular paper, apply about a 2 inch sample and let it dry. Somtimes we get the paint store to print extra lables and stick them to the back. Took out my logo, there is room at the top for your.

When I meet with the client and take a look at what they want done, I bring my color decks and we choose colors then. Then the contract, which I send later, details the areas or rooms to be done as well as the colors chosen. When they sign the contract, it's all said and done. Keeps it simple and signed.

In a perfect world you don't need a color schedule. We rarely use them and do the same as you. Eventually you are matching somebody's new downspouts, and they want that color on the bottom half of a commercial building. Oh yeah, you need fifty gallons to paint the CMU and fences. You better get them to sign off BEFORE you get the paint made. (true recent story)

Always cover your butt on mass custom colors. (any custom color really) Or you may eat it.
