I primed with gray, have put 4 coats on of a bood red color called "Ladybug" which is an old S/W Martha Stewart color. This product is just a can of crap! Please beware. The paint has left darker streaks through out, Yes I kept it stirred. The only place I have coverage is where the roller met the cut in. I was hoping Duration would be better then Color Accents, I went backwards! So, I will start over tomorrow, it will be a new day. lol
To be on the safe side I will reprime. Not that familuar with BM products. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
This is a kitchen with drywall.

It's not necessarily the product as it is the color that your having a problem with. I use Duration for most of my jobs. Red always sux, no matter what product it is.

Actually, ask your SW store to see if the computer can force tint the color in the Duration real red base. They just recently (last few days,) just added new formulas for some of the red colors. If the color can be put into a red base rather than the clear (ultradeep) You will get much better coverage. When you have a neutral or ultradeep base, it doesn't matter which paint is used. It's clear paint. Coverage lies very heavy on the colorants ability. Muddier the color the better the coverage. The cleaner the color the worse the coverage will be. With that being said, there is a difference in the end washability of duration home vs. color accents. Have you ever seen someone wash a dark color and the wall looks like it is hazy. That won't happen with duration home.
