I’m painting a bunch of exterior trim on a 120 year old house. I’m stripping some more noticeable boards all the way to wood and gonna use Fresh Start long oil primer on them. Can I coat over that primer with the Duration/EB mixture on my first coat. Will there be peeling issues? Using the mixture on first coat over most painted areas. Didn’t know if I should avoid it on the primered parts and just paint the regular Duration over it.

Eb is only really good for chalky surfaces, so Id go ahead and skip it.

I'd also consider switching to any paint other than Duration for substrates that have previously peeled. When Duration dries it tightly grabs the surface (normally good) but then it shrinks which puts a lot of tension into the layers of paint under it which can cause future peeling issues.
