We have a couple aluminum siding projects coming up and one we've just started prepping. I did not anticipate emulsa bond not being available. Had already ordered Coronado Crylicote for the siding planning to add emulsa bond. Turns out no one has it... anywhere.

Any alternative suggestions besides "Spray and Pray"?

We always added EB in Moorgard on the first coat. Nothing beats emulsabond when it comes to aluminum siding.

I saw a bunch of it at my local PPG store, wouldn't hurt to call a ppg around you if there is one.

Unfortunately, they don't. We're in Columbus Ohio. What they told me is they haven't had any in months and no word on when they'll get it. All of the big box home improvement stores are out and can't order.

I think I painted the only aluminum house down here in Charleston a few years back which is probably why we have EB in stock. There's really no demand for it here. Back when we operated in the north east aluminum houses where everywhere.

PPG says they have 4 gallons at one of their stores in Cincinnati.
