You are about to get eaten alive for asking a question that has been asked many times. Scroll to the top of the page. Click on the word "search" (has a little arrow). Enter the word "Pricing" or "estimates", "estimating" or something like that. All you will receive otherwise is sarcasm. Good luck.

No Such Animal

There is no such thing as a "going rate"
Don't believe me?
Call three different painting companies for bids on your job
I guarantee that you will get three different prices

Same as saying "what's the going rate for a car"

Are you sure? Most used car salesman are pretty even handed.. I know cause I just bought a 82 Chevrolet and it runs great. Roof rack is sweet!

well I am sorry I really dont do small stuff like that, so thats why i figured I would ask. I would think that on this forum you could ask a question pro to pro. Instead its like asking a 2yr old.. And if you really were tired of getting the same question dont answer, last time i checked the effort to type and answer and a stupid remark took the same ammount of effort..:thumbsup:

Use the search option for estimating/pricing, or going rate etc... The answer is how long will it take you x your labor rate that you have figured, + materials. It was your first post and it was very vague.

If you were a pro you wouldn't ask for the magical going rate. you are either a DIY(not going to get help here) or some guy that thinks here can paint and wants to know the maximum he can charge(so that he can undercut the rst of us by $50). Either way you sir are not a pro, why not guy charge $25 an hr like severson.
