Im not sure as to what you mean by fleet agreement. We do lease a fleet of vehicles from a snow plowing company for our busy season. All of our guys are to park company vehicles at the shop everyday after work, then report to the office every morning to get the vehicle needed for the job they are on that day. We supply gas, insurance, and maintenance

If you send me your email I will forward the company vehicle aggreement we have for subs and employees

Thanks. What I am looking for is to put together a written agreement between company and employee for use of company vehicles. Such as if the ladders are left unlocked at night (company supplies locks and chains) and they are stolen off the truck - who is responsible? Also a written maintenance schedule for the employee to take the truck in for service (company paid), rules for keeping it clean, and vehicle damage liability. I am trying to think of all of the possibilities that may come up with someone driving a truck around with the company name on the side and full of tools I have bought.

You're going to need to check with your ins.co. on that one

I know we couldn't let employees take the fleet home for any reason whatsoever with more than one co. I worked for
No personal errands even
Not even supposed to do coffee runs with them

Only one company I know of that let them take the vehicles home, and the employees actually had to lease the vehicles from the company
