Hi all

I'm one of the members of Treepack, a company based in Belgium. We work together with artists - mostly street art or spray paint experts. A very international public who place murals. I'm sure you've all seen some around, it's getting way more popular these days.
To make sure the artists don't have to worry about project management, ordering things (paint, lifts) and doing administration, we came to life.

There's three of us working in the company, with me being the guy in the field. We often take on seemingly large indoor and outdoor projects (let's say 100-1500 sq. meters), and there's always a challenge or two. Areas that are difficult to reach, bad surfaces, amazing amounts of prep-work and coördination... the whole shebang.
Of course it's not only desk work, I often find myself helping the artists paint, or at least assisting them in the process. This sector is def. not a one (wo)man job.

We noticed that the artists we work with often have the skill, but now the know-how for a perfect result. Some have never heard of a UV-coating before... but that's also a part of street art, it fades over time (which in my opinion is a pity).

So, I've been reading here for a couple of months now and I can say it's definitely worth it! :-D Without knowing it, all of you have already helped us out tremendously. From coatings to terminology and knowing what to use where...

Now it's time to repay the favor where we can.
Cheers!

Welcome to the group!

We occasionally have artists posting art related questions here not realizing it’s a site for structural painters. But in your case, it makes a lot of sense to have you here.

Oh Wow! Actual replies! ^_^

Yeah we've seen Muralform in action, we're happy they're at the other side of the ocean ;-). Can only watch and learn of course.

We know there's a lot of competition in our field, not to mention artists that take it upon themselves to make a living and advertise with bigger companies. But as we say it: "There are plenty'o walls out there, and enough crazy ideas to come up with".

I'll defo check out the VURT! There's so much to see and learn here... amazing. Thanks for the warm welcome!
