Recently purchased a graco 395 and have the RAC5 on my contractor gun with a 213 tip. It’s spraying nicely but I’m getting drips on anything that’s vertical on my face frame. I added thickener to my paint and turned the heat up. Any tips or suggestions?

213 is too big it's like a fire hose. Tip size depends on material you use but typically a 208-210FFLP is good for most trim paints.

Why the thickener?
Switch to FFLP tips and ditch the RAC 5. 310 for big boxes and 208 for face frames. I agree with @cocomonkeynuts that 213 is way too big, so it's putting out paint in areas you won't want it to.

Remember at equal psi a 213 passes the same amount of paint as a 413. Just a smaller pattern. Follow the advice from Cocomonkey nuts and Stelzerpainting

Which product are you spraying btw? Faceframes as in Cabinets? And yes 213 is an aggressive tip.

I use a FF 410 on all of it,face frames,finished ends,doors,drawers,man doors door trim crown mold chair rail baseboards,works just fine
