we are doing a 6000sq house(new res) and we are prepping/spraying trim and ceilings this week
told ho we will start walls on monday
he then asked if we can be done finish coat by wednesday morning (just the 2 of us btw)i know i am not as fat as some of you guys lol so no flaming
oh btw this is also the house with the bad mudder so i gotta fix that stuff still

I hope your getting paid to fix the "bad mudder" if not you shouldn't of started painting until the "mudder' fixed his problems

I thought the ho agreed to pay the mudder more to fix the mud (dumb move imo). Was the mudder paid more to correct his mistakes and still didn't get it right? Does not sound like m uch of a mudder for doing what did and saying what he said about it being the painter's responsibility.

Dry time on the lables of the caulk and paint cans give more than 48 hrs combined (for coating and recoating). Guarantee poor results with no recoop ... unless you have a full week!

ya i just told them back off if you want a good job the wife understood they are rushing cause the mudder was 2 weeks behind and the finish carpenters needed a extra week and they want the cabinet and tile guys in asap
as far as the taper goes he fixed most of the majors (i hope lol)she asked us to fix the smaller stuff at she would rather pay us than him anymore money
as far a my original post goes i was just laughing at how people think painting is fast and easy
