We always use caulk with no problems, are you shaving the edges? We run a 5, or a razor along the edges of that junk to get rid of the fuzzies first.
Same here. Getting rid of the fuzzies ( lack of a better word) is important for a good seal. If you have large gaps, due to poor quality wood butchers, then you might have to double back and caulk again.We always use caulk with no problems, are you shaving the edges? Try thisworking for a few builders,some say caulk underlaps some say dont.i tried going on hardi website but i couldnt find specs as what to and not to caulk.
