Welcome here.
I am self taught and often scary. I liked the idea of sitting under a tree while someone else painted but after trying it I remembered I was a one man operation. No worky so good.
I am a disgruntled ex-airline pilot (40 yrs old after 16yrs) who paints interiors only. I do all my work by word of mouth and enjoy what I do. This forum is great and look forward to learning and hopefullly contibuting.

Well please feel free to pick our brains. I have contracted but the bulk of my experience has been on the supply side. I have been a Sales Rep (I prefer Coatings Consultant) for several paint manufacturers and brands. You have a really great supplier up there in Rodda Paint if you can find a store with the experience you can feed off from. I recommend finding a good sales rep, one that looks at partnering with you rather than making a living off from you. Ask around the paint stores to see who they recommend for a rep.
