Hi, Im looking forward to generating some positive ideas with my fellow contractors on this forum! Im in the handyman painting business, I have been for the last 14 years and before that a mason in England.
Recently I've started to get athsma and problems from the dust etc... my business is busy and Im looking to make the step up from doing 90% of the work myself to doing maybe 50% of my time on the tools and getting a crew of 3 or 4 guys to do the bulk of the work.
My goal is to do this pretty quickly, within 12 months from today at least and earn a good income, 100k p/a approx.
Anyone who has made the jump from the tools to manager and has some good advice, if you pass on your knowledge to me I would very much appreciate it.
All the best, Dave
