I am working at a clients house and they asked me if I could paint the railings on their house boat. I figured the easiest way to go about it would be to get a wire brush attachment for a drill and skuff up all the railings. Then spray the rest with masking/drop sheet on the ground and cardboard or something behind it when I'm spraying. Just wondering how you guys go about spraying railings like this.

I don't think I would be spraying anything on the water. The only way I could see myself doing that job is by removing the rails and painting them inside a building if spraying. I would at least get it away from the water.
