Im painting my house. But also do some handyman work from time to time. I usually use SW but recently used their high end interior paint and was not impressed. I had to do two coats to cover light bone with white.
From what I can gather is that the amount of solids is most important to consider. There is Volume Solids and Weight Solids. Lets compare two paints.....SW Duration and Behr Marquee. SW = 39/50, B = 41/53. Seems about the same. I can probably get them both at about $50 gallon. Is there a brand that does a lot better. Maybe one that is less well known??? In Florida.
Is there another factor to consider which would make considerable difference. I don't care to compare minor differences and I don't want to make more of it than it is. If you tell me...Just go buy a paint companies high end paint....got it. Will do. If there is a way I can save and get great paint, thanks for that.
So what do I need to know???
