I'm looking for the best way to effectively get rid of all algae. The first pic is the original state. I brushed on Behr 3-in-1 deck cleaner/brightener and then pressure washed the debris and chemicals. It still needs another chemical treatment and I'm unsure what to use in order to get the last remnants of algae off the cedar before staining with trans oil.
I'm doing this job for a family friend and giving a discount, in hopes that I can master this type of job. I don't do that much deck and pressure washing type work so I've not encountered a deck with this much algae. I don't want to remove the remaining algae with pressure, as that will make the wood fuzzy.
