Hi, We have around 9 years old "Ribbons and Bows" girls bedroom set. It is "Impression" collection by Thomasville.

It has an antique washed pine effect and construction of solid white pine and veneers (look like Light Almond color)
and Cannon Paints brand paint on it.
it looks like they first white washed the solid pine wood and then they had put decal and then they varnished it three times.
what i want to know is this set is for girls basically but we want to use it for our son. so we want to remove "Ribbons and Bows" pattern decal from the furniture.
But we have no idea how to do it? please give us information for how to remove Ribbons and Bows design decal from varnished white washed pine wood furniture? What method we should use to remove it, and how to do it?
In your knowledge is there any product available in market which can help remove old decals under varnished from wood furniture ? and what we should do after removing decal to match that area with the finishing of rest of the furniture ? Please advice or help me with some information you know. Thank you in advance.
