$3.00 a square in Pa sounds pretty good, since here in CT the going rate is $3.50

but like the other gents have said...it's all relative

I personally have never been a fan of bidding like that...I figure out the time and other factors involved and bid that way

Repaints by sq. ft.?
I don't do repaints that way
There's no way near enough info to figure out how long it will actually take with re-paints
Way to many factors involved when H/Os are around and moved in

I am starting a repaint interior next week. 3000 sq ft, two coats walls and one coat oil on casings and baseboard. no doors or window grids. I am supplying the paint, BM matte. The up side is the homeowner will be in Florida so we will have free reign on the job! $8,275.00. You shouldn't be to far off with $3.00 a sq but the homeowner furniture battle can sometimes loom large:yes:

I REALLY like that name, Painttofish!

All my tackle has been set far aside, and my boats are NOT in good order...

I'm NOT living right.

...HO furnishings always freak me out!
I always advise them my insurance is great, but PLEASE remove heirlooms and sentimental value things that are irreplaceable, themselves.
Those bowed front antique hutches loaded with crystal knick knacks and geegaws I just won't touch!

That's a good wage. How long do you expect it to take? What's the prep like? And how did you get the HO to sign that one?? My average interior runs 1/3 of that price.
Three guys 8 days. There are some nail pops, and caulking around base and trim but nothing out of the ordinary. This was a semi-high end referral job that I landed two months ago. If I got the call this week from advertising only, obviously the price would be a bit different, but not to much. Man's gotta eat.............and fish:jester:
