·I am putting on a four room addition to my house and the plasters finished up about a month ago. Last week I used a Sherwin Williams primer that is made to be used over fresh plaster before painting. However, I found in some small areas (in a few corners and where the ceiling meets the wall) that I failed to put primer on. I found this out when I put up painters masking tape the dried paint started peeling off really bad only where I failed to prime. In the three rooms where I properly primed, the paint did not peel off when I masked the edges.
My question is how can a remove the paint that does not have primer underneath it so that I can properly prime and then repaint? The walls in this room are a smooth plastered finish but the ceiling is a swirled plaster. I am using all latex paint.
Thanks in advance for your help!!!
