Introduction letters to customers

Am starting a new direct mail campaign and am sending letters instead of just a postcard. Looking to do a brief introduction of our business. What if anything do you include in yours? What are the hot buttons that seem to work? Any ideas you want to share?

I try to highlight the key work objectives of my business and the way I treat my customers.
Points I might include are:

Workmanship and quality as it applies to the customer
affordable rates based upon the work being carried out
trust as it applies to the customer receiving what they contract for.

I generally use these three elements in my marketing whether a PC or letter.
