Hello, this is my Graco Magnum LTS17 sprayer around 7-8 years old. It has started to leak between the unit and the frame. Does anyone know if this can be repaired or is it time to take it behind the barn? Thank you.

Probably just needs a repack. Try to Google repair kit for your model number.

Yeah the Graco rep suggested it is the pump is failing/leaking. I don't think I can justify spending $150-175 to replace it. When a new one cost around $300. I can't seem to find a good tutorial for this model anyways, which could change my mind.

Yes it's done for. these sprayers only made for 50-100 gallons. This is what the inside will look like. Paint all over the interal gears and motor windings. It cannot be fixed thus there is no tutorials. Just throw it away and buy a used titan 440 or graco 395

unfortunately these models are designed such that the packing's open up into the internals of the pump. if you see paint leaking then its too late to repack it. These arn't meant to be repairable like 390/440s

I understand budget and not spraying very often and buying a throw away pump but if you paint for a living and you spray you need a pump you can count on and those pumps are simply not it.

$300 is a night out, not what a painting contractor spends on a sprayer. Introduce yourself or be terminated.
