Anybody experience something like this.
we are preparing a property wall by replacing wood partitions between stucco walls.(non supporting) 53 of them. we had replaced 50 of them when my guys were aproached by county licensing. he made us pull off the job insisting that it's structural (its ornamental .The home owners association had checked last year.I guess they changed the rules) and you must have a carpenters license.$500.00 fine and appear before the board if we kept working. Now I have to hire a carpenter to finish.I'm all for proper licensing but I don't think we overstepped.
You can't beat city hall!
