Hello all! Reaching out to the pros out there. I’m starting a small business installing pvc wall panels and am having difficulty finding a (various colored) metallic paint to spray using my Graco true coat VSP Airless Paint sprayer. Ive seen other companies with same setup using this type of paint but don’t know what brands etc. Any recommendations would greatly be appreciated. Thank you all.

The biggest thing with Metallic coatings is managing the customers expectations.

That being said, just make sure you are using a primer that is suitable for PVC.

The companies to look at:

• Scuff Master: [LINK]
• PPG Metallic: [LINK]
• BM Metallic Glaze: [LINK]

We use a lot of DEFT 36 [LINK] at one of the big Mouse Related Theme Parks in SoCal. But it's NOT cheap and there is a learning curve to using it.

Also any Automotive coating (SW/PPG/etc.) will be able to produce most metallic paint that cars currently use.
