I live fairly modest, single story brick home with vinyl soffits and metal fascia. Not all that big, in a simple neighborhood. Standard Florida carport rather than a garage....4 sprayers in plain view... 65+ gallons of leftover paint next to the carport awaiting a dump run, huge truck full of ladders and paint buckets with rollers sticking out in the driveway... you get the picture.
WHY IN HELL WOULD SOMEONE DROP OFF A CARD FOR A PAINTING COMPANY???!?!? Gads I hate that.. get a clue.
It was just a card in the paper box.. nice card I admit, but.... even my 12 year old knows better. Prolly was just some college kid paid to get rid of X amount of cards. Still..... drives me nuts, would be like me dropping off a card for pressure washing at some dudes house with a trailer and a huge water tank on it/chems/washer/etc parked in the driveway.
The poor guy is asking for help. Just too shy to come up to the door and knock. Call him and get the story, might be interesting. Just my 2 cents, I guess the computer age got rid of the cents symbol, as i can't find it on my keyboard. Happy painting, Paul_R. :detective:
You know, on every job I have my guys drop about 200 to 300 doorhangers. I specifically tell them to never, ever put one on a house that has a "coatings pros" sign in the yard. On the other hand, I do tell them to put them on the doors of people who are obviously painters. Why? Because I could possible do their overflow work and at the very least I am letting them know I am painting their neighbors house... :whistling2:
