Alright, I'll share with the understanding that no one within 50 miles of me (except Slick) uses it.

My new shirts say "YOUR PAINTER" in big bold letters on the front.
with the company info on the back.

All good customers and friends / waitresses / coffee shop girls and dinner cooks all say "MY PAINTER" on the front with the company info on the back.

It's working very well, and I'm having trouble keeping up with the demand.
I've bought 3 dozen already.

A recent Ben Moore show gave us a good seminar on customers making decisions on relationships and emotions. When it's personal, they go with the guy they trust, the one who has sat at their table and ate dinner with them. I've noticed I'm called My PAINTER by word of mouth customers and such allot over the last year and everyone wants everyone to use THEIR PAINTER who is awesome. So we made it personal, and when 6 guys walk into the coffee shop in the morning we are all wearing YOUR PAINTER and they really get it.

I'm not saying it's incredible, it's just something thats working very well for me and that doesn't happen all the time. So if it helps (and you don't live close) then feel free. We can all use an edge.

Good call KP. How does the My Painter shirts work? do you just give them to people? Or just people you know? Do you send them as thank yous? Was this the BM pro show? Thanks for sharing.

Yes B.M pro show in Natick. I give them to anyone who works in a busy people associated atmosphere. Cooks with there backs to 400 people a day.
Waitresses, and customers who call me their painter / Family and friends.

The only problem is the sizes...I just ordered large to xx large and I'm getting request for medium / small and kids shirts.

you have to get those little kids in your shirts, now thats good marketing.

I'm past the 50 mile radius (Northeast Pa) so I am going to give your shirt idea a run. Starting out with shirts for my painters then the next batch will be for customers. Thanks for sharing.

Yup it's far enough..... waiting to pickup the smalls tomorrow. Also the kids sizes are a pain..but the customers love them....they can say.."my mom had our house painted and all I got was this lousy t-shirt!
or...My house looks better than yours..

I think the next batch for us will say..making neighbors jealous since 2005
