Hello I have a new Graco 695 and it is making a grinding noise I’ve brought the machine to a service centre in my area and I was told he’s never heard that noise before so he called Graco and Graco said it’s just new keep running it and see if it stops just wondering if anyone on this forum has heard this before I have a video of the noise but unsure of how to upload

You'll have to upload it if you want any help here. I'm assuming you've added throat seal?
Yes I definitely add throat seal before every use
I will try and figure out how to add the video

That’s the noise it’s making you can really hear it at 22 seconds
What are you running through it, paint, water, something real heavy bodied? Sounds more like a lagging can't keep up sound rather than a metal sound which is what I think of when you say grinding.

sounds like the packings are just running a bit dry. not metal grinding. tighten the packing nut. throw in some throat seal and spray some paint I bet it goes away.
Thanks for the reply’s guys it does it if I run water or paint trough it when the video was taken I was running water I will try tightening the packing nut up and loading more throat seal
Sounds like something vibrating. Like a piece of plastic or something. 🤷‍♀️

Sounds like the cooling fan blades are maybe rubbing on something.
