i just cleaned my purdy out with paint stripper. you can do this with natural bristle but... farewell old synthetic, nobody told me.

shouldn't they put a warning on the box?

You should have told us Scott. Maybe we could have had a memorial.

Seriously though, I've used paint stripper on synthetic brushes before. I don't recall which stripper or the make up of the bristles, but I didn't have any problems. I used to be extremely bad about cleaning brushes and often had to resort to stripper to make them semi-functional.

It is instinctual for us to care for our “tools”, even if we don’t. We know that from the club to the computer, tools have helped shape who we are and contribute to our survival. To dismiss them as inanimate objects, that can be easily replaced, suggests that we have the power to live without them. Tell that to the people of Mayanmar.
