This is great. I have mentioned it on other threads how there is alot of confusion among homeowners right now as a result of national media. They see the Home Depot commercials that promote how painting is so easy that "you can do it, we can help." And on HGTV they see these phenomenal makeovers where the paint cost was "$125.00" and the whole house was made over with a $2000 budget. Wow. Granted, any homeowner can grab a brush and roller and do some painting, and some actually can do a decent job. But we have been called in by alot of frustrated homeowners to clean it up. Getting comments like "my god you guys draw straight lines really fast" and "how do you make those holes disappear" and how do you get to the walls and ceilings in the stairway"...Then there are others like the homeowner on the craigslist explosion that certainly believe they could do it just as well or better if they only had the time. Quite a phenomenon.

you said it all just keep reading over and over. It doesn't make any sense why would someone want to work for less money. I also wonder why a home owner would want to hire a proffesional and use the cheepest paint he can buy. Does that make any sense at all? Not to me
