Hello, I am trying to paint a car bumper and fender with spray paint, the cheapest way possible. I am looking for a certain color:

2005 Chevy Aveo 95U/WA248L Dove Silver Metallic

This is the color I am looking for but in a Duplicolor mix, I know Duplicolor makes this color, but its very expensive for a can ($12) and you need to have it ordered and shipped. I know the local auto stores sell Duplicolor paints for $6 a can, is there a certain color that is close to this color? Just something very close, even import paint is fine, as long as it is close...

I dont know if anyone has a paint program that they can feed this into and compare it with other automotive paints or something. Please help...

If it's important enough for you to repaint it then surely the extra $ is worth it. $6.00 isn't exactly going to break the bank.

Good luck with your quest...

Btw, this is a construction painting forum :whistling2:

I'm sure there is an auto paint shop in your city somewhere that can mix up that color for you. I just bought some paint for my ford windstar yesterday. I spent $70 on base coat, clear coat and activator. It will be like new this weekend. Spend the extra $6 and at least get the color right. Otherwise it will look like you did it the cheapest way possible.
