Hi everyone,
I'm looking to change the trim on a new home. The only problem is that the paint that is there is damn near bullet proof. I've had painters come in, sand it down and then apply our 'industrial grade' paint from Shermann Williams but am still getting scratches, water spots and dirt stains all over it.

I know it's hard to recommend a particular type of paint without seeing it but do you think it's the paint or the application?

I've asked our contractor but have been told that a few more coats will do just fine.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks,
BN
