are you talking about painting the ceiling or walls or both? If it's ceilings, I just make small areas to walk in and go at it, drape plastic over top of furniture or course. If it's the walls, I throw down some drops and have at it..

kind of a basic question huh?

are you the guy that's just starting out?

Hey man, there are some great books at your local public library that are for DIY painters. I checked out a couple just for *hits and giggles, and I did find out a couple things I didn't know already. Can't remember the names, but if you are interested, I could look them up for you.

Happy painting, Paul.

Typically I prime the carpet first with a bonding primer and then follow up with duration. Thats the only way ive been able to really paint over the carpet, and get a good finish.:)

When painting a room with carpet and the furniture is stacked in the middle of the room what is your standard procedure before you start painting.
Please, no drive by one liner Charlie’s, only those who wish to share need respond.

Thank You
This sounds like it could be a question from a homeowner who's looking for ammunition.
