I am looking to paint my bedroom which is small and dont want it to look any smaller by painting it the wrong color.
I know lighter colors are the way to go but i want to make sure i pick the correct color.
Will a light beige color work in a small room keeping the molding white.

Also i read i should use a paint with some gloss in a small room is this true.
any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Dear DIY'ER,
go to our website. We have a color tool that is pretty functional for a project like yours. I'd suggest WHITE on your ceiling in a flat finish, and an "off" white, something w/ a bit of color for the walls. Walls in an eggshell/washable paint. Buy premium paint and ask for brushes/rollers a pro would use. Good tools will make it easier to do and make the paint look better also.

This is a fable
It's simply not true
But people are stuck on it so what are you going to do

No
Probably another "fixup" show load of crap that some Fingerhut "decorina" on HGTV made up and is now repeated as gospel

any help would be appreciated.
