I have not hung 54 inch vinyl in 6 years. I need advice. I have been offered a job at 5.50 per yard. They furnish paste and a paste machine. These are empty allready prepped hotel rooms. No baseboards down yet. Is this a fair price these days? Mopaint

Fair depends on if you can get up enough vinyl in a day for $5.50 a yard to make your wage. It's not a great price, but I've heard of lower. It seems to be an established rate for production hanging.

Heard that. I can hang 120 yards a day and it's winter so it is the only thing I have now so I guess I will take it. Thanks for the info. Mopaint

yeah man, if its enough rooms (like 50+) its a fine price for 54" paper

if I didn't have nothing to do I'd take that all day @ 2.5yrds a stoke. Should be able to throw up 75-100 yrds a day if the rooms aint to cut up.

No, Id have to say I'd put a man on that if I did have something else for him to do. 54" paper goes FAST!
