Paypal

I use PayPal when a customer absolutely insists on using a credit card...but I don't make first mention of it or promote it.

I used to have a merchant account but got tired of paying monthly fees just to maintain the account (which I seldom used).

Related to what Nathan said, I make sure to tell them they don't have to be a member or join to pay...that part can cause a little confusion.

Can't do that, according to the terms of most merchant accounts.
